TO SUPPORT ALL COUNTY VETERANS THROUGH THE COLLECTIVE EFFORTS OF VETERANS’ ORGANIZATIONS, CIVIC ASSOCIATIONS AND THE LOCAL COMMUNITY, THEREBY RAISING AWARENESS OF VETERANS’ NEEDS AND OF THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS TO SOCIETY.
The Veterans Council of Indian River County (VCIRC), Inc was incorporated on February 6, 1987, to support all Indian River County veterans through the collective effort of veteran’s organizations, civic associations, and the local community, thereby raising awareness of veterans’ needs and of their contributions to society. The VCIRC is a non-government 501(C)(3) dedicated to supporting veterans and their families.
The Veterans’ Council has grown over the years through partnerships with county-wide veterans’ organizations and non-veteran civic and business entities along with supportive individuals. The Council, as an umbrella organization, has expanded its collaboration to include County veteran’s advocates and supporters comprised of auxiliary and honorary members, along with county and city government representative and friends.
