COVID-19 – Veterans Council Upward American Veterans Program
As our local community begins to slowly reopen, many veterans and their families still have critical needs. For more than two months, many of our proud local veterans have tried to keep their heads above water without asking for assistance. Their cash reserves are low and their credit lines are maxed. Many have found that their reemployment insurance has been delayed, their stimulus payments also delayed or lost, and the uncertainty of when they can return back to work continues.
The veterans council is here to serve the needs of our local veterans through our Upward American Veterans program. You are not alone, we will get through this together. We are here for you! If you are a veteran or know of a veteran in Indian River County who needs help please contact the Veterans Council of Indian River County at (772) 410-5820.
If you would like to support our efforts to help local veterans in need, please make donation to the COVID-19 emergency fund, please click here: https://bit.ly/VCIRC-COVID-19
THANK YOU!

New Buses for Veteran’s Transportation Program
The Veterans Council of IRC is excited to announce we’ve recently upgraded our Transportation Program buses! After 8 months, we’ve officially received the title and transfer of the newer buses that will allow us to transport our veterans who use wheelchairs easier as well as fit better in smaller parking lots. Our Transportation Program is widely used by local veterans for transport to their local medical appointments as well as to their appointments to the VA hospital in West Palm Beach. As always, we are incredibly thankful to our community for their support of the Veterans Council of IRC. We can only do the work we do with your support and donations!
